Been too long since I submitted a decently worked through piece. But here it is! A lot of time was put into this, and it underwent a lot of transitions over the course of creation. Thanks a lot to ~Baro for invaluable tips and critique.

Original size: 3000x4300 (so there's room for wallpapers, would anyone want that).

This is the second piece of my nebulae centred gem series, the first being "Shores of Gold" (yes, the planet has been reused for that purpose):

We'll see what kind of gemstone (not that gold is actually a gem, but ah well) I'll present next. Emeralds? Amethysts? Rubies? A lot of nice colours and themes too choose from.

this is completely breathtaking. if i hadn't known you had painted it, and knew a little less about astronomy, i would have thought you had commissioned hubble yourself! may i request the wallpaper size?
